In Nuke we rotoscoped the thumb so we could place it over the fake screen. We had to draw around the thumb and then corrected it in each frame so it would bend the way the thumb did.
We also had to track the phone to put the fake screen on top of the real one. This was difficult because the phone was shaking so much and the tracker kept going off screen. This meant in every frame I had to correct it. However once it was done I could put the fake screen on top in line with each point.
Here you can see the frames which I had to correct due to the screen moving too much.
This was the most difficult throughout making the clips as nuke kept lagging and it was hard to get the tracking to stay still. Next time id like to spend more time on this to get it perfect and stay still.
