The artist of this painting Michael Kerbow works with various materials and medium such as paintings, drawings and photography. For this artwork he used oil paints to bring to life a futuristic industrial scenery. The concept of his art is to explore our actions and the consequences it has on the world, the painting above shows the future aftermath of our present actions and how we damage the world. In this art piece he used basic techniques to achieve his desired outcome, although he didn't use any outstanding ways to make the painting the outcome is still stunning.
I enjoying this painting due to the smaller details he managed to fit in to show the massive structure (mess) we have built and that we are polluting the earth. I also like the contrast between the dark hues of the industrial structure and the soft, calming tones of the sea and sky behind it. It reminds me of a puzzle platformer horror game called Little Nightmares, it has the same design and set as the game.
This painting could inspire a game set in a similar scene like the artist depicted with the Earth dying and having these giant industrial buildings all over the world, i also believe the art style could be involved as it is quite different from most games but still realistic enough. The painting could also be used in an animation with once again following the same scene or using a more futuristic approach instead of killing the Earth we are enhancing it
